Just days ago, I booked a flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I wanted to try new food and discover new cultures in our neighbouring country. My one-way SGD $78 Scoot flight from Changi Airport, Singapore to Kuala Lumpur International Airport is only 45 minutes. It is a perfect weekend getaway for Singaporeans as well as tourists who want to explore neighbouring countries.
Travelling solo means I have to take care of myself. Since it is a budget trip, I will have to pack strategically light because I want to zip around town without being burdened by my luggage.
The majority of what I packed were my travel-sized toiletries, 3 sets of workout clothes for sleep, 1 pair of jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, and walking shoes as well as my Macbook Pro and iPad Pro.
All of these came in 12 kg of carry-on baggage.
