The Bed KLCC, Capsule Hostel

If you’re planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur and searching for unique, budget-friendly, and conveniently located accommodation, look no further than The Bed KLCC! I recently had the chance to spend a few nights here, and it did leave me with some great memories.

The Capsule Bed

Each capsule comes with its own attached lighting for late-night reading, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I slept like a baby, except for a few instances when some guests were having FaceTime calls or snoring away like lumberjacks! Always bring along a sleeping eye mask and earplugs or noise-cancellation headphones if you are staying in capsule hotels.

Each bed comes with a short pole inside the capsule to hang your laundry. Plus, the large and deep locker underneath the bed kept my backpack safe and out of the way. I highly recommend asking for a lower bunk if you can; it saves you the hassle of climbing up and down and gives you easy access to your belongings.

Shower Rooms

Shower rooms are separated by gender, are kept clean and have hot/warm water โ€“ perfect for refreshing after a long day of exploring.

The Bed KLCC also has a cozy lounge area that stays open till past midnight, ideal for catching up on some work or planning your next adventure online. There’s even free breakfast, filtered water, tea, coffee, and a microwave for your convenience. The only downside is that the lounge area can get a bit noisy at times, so don’t forget your trusty noise-cancellation headphones. Sadly, there are guests watching TikTok and conducting Zoom calls without earphones. To focus better, bring along top-notch noise-canceling headphones โ€“ they work wonders.

All in all, The Bed KLCC is a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a fun and cozy stay in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Just remember to pack your sleep essentials and enjoy everything this cool hostel has to offer!

Shopping mall housing International brands, Japanese Isetan Departmental Store and Lot 10 Hutong Food Court at lower ground floor featuring wide variety of Malaysian Cuisines. The foods are delicious, however, I’ve noticed that the prices tend to be slightly higher than what you’d find at local stores, and the portions are a little on the smaller side.
